Tom Tayback and the Daddy O's in Chandler on Aug 30

Live Graffiti Gold Show

Tom Tayback and the Daddy O's

Return To Wild Horse Pass

Saturday, August 30th from 8pm to midnight, Tom Tayback and the Daddy O's will Rock 'n Roll your world at Gila River Casinos "Wild Horse Pass" in Chandler, playing those great Golden Oldies from the 50's, 60's & 70's. Get nostalgic and dance the night away, cuz there's no cover charge. This is not your everyday band. It's a great show with lots of fun, trivia and comedy from the stage that people rave about. There's tons of audience interaction with Sing-a-Longs, the Twist, the occasional Hula Hoop or Paddle Ball exhibition and more. Everyone laughs... Most know the words... Some even cry, as memories fill the air.

That's what Rock 'n Roll Gold is all about and that's why this show has become  recognized as some of the best entertainment in the southwest.

Recognize the name? With a background in Hollywood Movies & TV and as the multi-award winning anchor of 780 KAZM's morning show (The DUO) in Sedona, Tom Tayback brings seasoned presence to his live performances. You may also remember his uncle Vic Tayback, who starred for 9 seasons as Mel Sharples on "Alice" for CBS. As a Screen Actors Guild member, Tom's acting history can be viewed on the Internet Movie Database site (www.imdb.com/name/nm0851860/). From '89 to '91 he produced his own syndicated TV variety show on KTUP

Channel 45 in Phoenix. From '85 to '91 he also hosted radio shows in Phoenix and Las Vegas. In '93 Tom costarred in the premiere episode of the new "Route 66" for NBC. '94 found him starring as a body-snatching alien in "Hidden II, The Spawning" for NewLine Cinema Productions. In '95 he starred as homicide detective "Sgt Gold" in "Undercover Heat" with Meg Foster for Axis Films International. And in '96 Tom starred in his favorite role as the new "Grizzly Adams" in "Treasure Of The Bear" with Joseph Campanella... You'll love this band. Tom surrounds himself with some of the best musicians in the southwest in order to do justice to those great Golden Oldies. Anything else would be Rock 'n Roll sacrilege.

Lyle Pratt (the "Wild Man" - "Lord of the Strings") is on lead guitar. He's well known for a unique style reminiscent of the "Tele-King" James Burton, who played with Elvis Presley. For many years he was highly sought after and worked extensively in the San Francisco bay area clubs with the likes of Buffalo Springfield and Commander Cody & His Lost Planet Airmen during the rock and roll explosion of the 60's. In 1986, he played with the World Olympic Touring Band. In his spare time he even doubled as a disc jockey at KKUP Radio. Once you've hear Lyle play, you'll understand why his style is perfect for this era of music.

Rob Bernhagen (the "Marauder" - "Baron of Bass") also started his music career in high school during the golden age of rock and roll. After honing his craft with several bands in college, he spent the next 15 years as a singer/songwriter, working on numerous TV shows and movies (even scoring a low-budget western) and collaborating on commercials with other musicians. Because he grew up with it, Rob has a special love for vintage rock and roll. It's what motivated him to become a musician and has been the single most important influence in his life.

Rich Keigley (the "Sultan of Snare") started playing drums in bands and doing jingles at the local radio station in Buffalo, NY when he was 16 years old. He then studied with Johnny Roland of the Buffalo Philharmonic, which prepared him to tour with Top 40 commercial musicians up and down the east coast. After moving to Arizona, Rich continued his studies with composer, conductor and percussion Impresario Dan Tomlinson. In his travels he's opened for the likes of Steppenwolf, Blue Oyster Cult, Marshall Tucker and other top groups. He now feels fortunate to have "The Chair" as one of the Daddy O's in the Tom Tayback Band.

This show will remind you of the good old days. The days of Juke Boxes and 45 records - Soda Shops and Sock Hops in the gym - Alan Freed and his traveling Rock n' Roll Review. Tom Tayback and the Daddy O's are a true blast from the past. Dance it up, or just sit back and remember. Either way you'll enjoy. Hey baby, It's all about Rock 'n Roll Gold! See them Saturday night, August 30th, 8pm to midnight, at Gila River Casinos "Wild Horse Pass"...

"In Search of the Future" screening on Apr 26

Hollywood welcomes Sedona's  "In Search of the Future" filmmakers Connie Baxter Marlow (l.) and Andrew Cameron Bailey (r.)

Sedona filmmakers launch national screening of "In Search of the Future"

Sedona, AZ - April 21, 2008 - IN SEARCH OF THE FUTURE, the ground-breaking film by Sedona filmmakers Andrew Cameron Bailey and Connie Baxter Marlow, begins its national screening tour on April 26th in Phoenix with a screening at the Unity Church of Divine Love in Chandler.

Sonoma, California is the next stop, with a Wabanaki Confederacy benefit tour of Maine in mid-May, culminating in its New York premiere at Alex Grey's Chapel of Sacred Mirrors on May 29.

IN SEARCH OF THE FUTURE has been called an "Indigenous 'What the Bleep?!" (Zaadz.com) with "No less vital a message than 'The 11th Hour.'" (SHIFT Magazine). It is a speculative documentary that uniquely synthesizes indigenous wisdom and quantum science to bring a new and uplifting perspective on the genesis and future of humanity and the nature of the universe.

It is the indigenous perspective that makes the film a breath of fresh air. Filmed on location across the globe at locations such as the Kalahari Desert, home of the world's "oldest humans," the Rocky Mountains and remote lakes of Mexico, it features several indigenous elders who offer a remarkably similar viewpoint of where we originate, why we are here and where we are going.

Conscious Film Festival at the Conscious Life Expo features IN SEARCH OF THE FUTURE by Sedona filmmaker Connie Baxter Marlow (l.) and Andrew Cameron Bailey (r.).

Indigenous "Wise Ones" in the film include Kalahari Bushmen, Zulu, Zimbabwean, Shona, Swazi, Native Hawaiian, Toltec, Purepecha Indian, Penobscot, Ute, Yaqui, and other Native Americans.

The Western thinkers who echo and complement the indigenous visionaries include Ralph Abraham, PhD, Chaos Mathematician, Dr. Geoff Blundell, Curator of the Origins Centre, Johannesburg, South Africa, John Renesch, author, entrepreneur and futurist, and John Stokes, director of The Tracking Project.

Best-selling author Lynn Andrews says of the film, "In Search of the Future is an inspiring vehicle for change in the evolution of spiritual awareness."

The film made its LA debut at the Conscious Film Festival in February.

Filmmakers Marlow and Bailey can be heard online at www.spiritoffilm.net: "The Spirit of Film: Conversations with Randall Libero" Spirit of Film is part of the 7th Wave Radio Network and focuses on the new era of "visionary entertainment."
